My dear Sir,
As I hear that the Cardiff views are being exhibited, I conclude that you have determined on taking the stock of Negatives which I left in London with Henneman, 1 and shall be much obliged for a copy of each, in the same manner as you were good enough to let me have one of each of the Italian and other views which you took from me.
I conclude also that you have become a purchaser of the coloured copies, as I have so often begged to have them returned in case of your not wishing to take them; and so long a time has now elapsed since I left them at the Establishment. 2
The copies of those views which I took during my late tour have turned out splendidly,
yours very truly
Calvert R. Jones.
