I am not without hopes that with the advice of my friends a method may be found of avoiding all these difficulties which have be  hitherto impeded the formation of the Ph^c Society.

In the meantime, as some expense has been ex  incurred in printing, I would suggest that the Committee defray the same and shall be happy to send you my share of it, & will feel obliged by your sending me a copy of the resolutions that were printed – I shall have the pleasure of writing further to you on the subject in a week or ten days.
