TALBOT6162

Chippenham

10 July 1848

Dear Sir,

Gales 1 proposal is to exchange the existing life (65) for his own 37. and to add his Wife’s – 33 – and his son’s – 11 –

I should think the Property would realize about £480. if sold absolutely, as freehold – the present interest of Gale under the Lease I should think worth about £160 – He calculates the repairs and Insurance at £5. per Ann: which would reduce the <illegible deletion> gross rent to £22 – pr Annum

If you will be good enough to let me know when I should find you at home I will wait upon you with the present Lease

I remain Dear SirYour obliged Servt
