L^d M^t E ¹ differs a little in opinion from M^r Bolton, ² whose opinion I sent to you this morning. L^d M^t E wishes to lay the matter before the Dean himself and thinks we ought to be satisfied with his decision whatever it be: in which I certainly concur. L^d M^t E will not write to him today, but prefers to leave another day for reconsideration of the matter.
