Monday July 8.
My dear Henry
There are no letters for you yet. If you send Jones back from London I should like him to bring a bottle of pale brandy – If he goes on with you, it is of no consequence; for in that case I will desire Lowe to bring it from Birmingham. I have heard from Mrs Williams and she does not think Charles’s teeth require anything – but to make sure of all being right she will take him with her to Cheltenham (as she has occasion to see Mr. Palmer herself) & ask about it, without having anything done – We have a fine bright day at last – yesterday was fair also – and I went to evening church with Rd & Matilda – but the air is cold.
Mlle A. is not very well – I think she caught cold going out those wet cold days – She kept her room yesterday – but is getting up this morning –
In haste for the post –
Your affectionate
Constance –
