Lacock Abbey Sunday –
My dear Henry
I suppose you are very busy as you do not write again. I don’t know whether you wish me to forward all your letters – such as the printed one come today, through whose envelope I can read these words –
Course of eleven Lectures on the Physical principles of the.– .
and another printed thing enclosed in yellow paper with 4 stamps. – This is the form in which, I believe, proof sheets are sent to you – It cannot be a catalogue of books because it is not open at the ends –
We went to see Caroline & Lord Mt Edgcumbe on Thursday – She is looking very well; and Ernestine wonderfully, considering her late illness – Flora was not there, but arrived yesterday. Caroline will try to come over some evening soon about the museum, half of which belongs to her – She will not come to stay a night or two yet –
Mr Oardow has fixed on lodgings at Bath & goes there next Tuesday, after giving his 3d lesson at Spye Park and his 1st at Noton House. We shewed his pictures to Dr Watson on Thursday – He thought very favorably of them.
Mrs Oardow is expected in about ten days –
Many loves from the Girls – & Mlle Amélina. –
Your affectionate
Constance
