I hope you are well. we came from Barming last Tuesday. I hope Aunt Mary ¹ and all my Cousins ² are well. Is it not very pleasant at Penrice ³ this fine weather.

We are to begin to learn to dance tomorrow Miss Rae ⁴ is coming to teach us. Papa ⁵ has given Horatia ⁶ and me two pretty toys mine is a gig and horse and Horatia’s is a Donkey.
