My dear Henry,
I forward a letter which I guess to be from Charles – I hear from Mr Williams that he was very much charmed with the plants – & was going to write to thank you – Mr Williams says he was very well behaved through the holidays. The note from Mr Moore I received a few days ago – There is a new flower open in the large conservatory. – Something Campaneila – I forget the first name. – The Taxonia was very pretty today – I wish it had rained a little more – Some drops fell &c and the sky was much clouded, – but I am afraid it has passed off again for the present –
All here are well – the poor Housemaid better since she began to rest –
Your affectionate
Constance.
I have just paid away the last part of the £300 which was placed to my account February 24th. Will you take measures for a fresh supply while you are in London – through Coutts? –
