Pray excuse my delay in writing to you.

I am very much obliged by your mention of the photographic portrait of Moore & whenever it may be convenient to you I should much wish to have an opportunity of seeing it though, as you say, there must be considerable doubt whether it will be made available as an engraving for his Memoirs.

I was very glad to think M^rs. Moore in rather better health & spirits when I lately was with her at Sloperton. I remain,
