TALBOT6776

London, 5, Henrietta Street, Covent Garden
May 11th 1853

Sir –

I have the honour to thank you for two sets of specimens of photographic engraving, and when I have had time to consider how they may be profitably employed for the illustration of subjects of natural history, I will write again.

As I am myself the editor of the Literary Gazette, 1 and have no partner, either in it or in the publishing business here, I will, if you please, return the second set of specimens, or hand them over to anyone to whom you may wish them given.

I am, Sir, Your very obedt Servant
Lovell Reeve.
