TALBOT6796

122 Regent Street

19 May 1853

Sir

I delayed replying to your note of yesterday at Mr. Henneman's request as he expected to send you some more Leaves, but these not being ready, I hasten to acknowledge the receipt of a parcel, containing 9 packets which arrived this morning and will be duly delivered today. With respect to the first packet, mentioned in your letter of yesterday as unacknowledged, I beg to acquaint you that they did not come to my hands at all, Mr. Henneman received them without my cognizance, and his failing to acquaint me with the same is the cause of the apparent neglect.

I have sent per Rail the number of `Frazer' which you can keep or return, at your pleasure -

I am Sir Your Obedt Servt

for Henneman & Co

E. L. Davis

H. F. Talbot Esq
