TALBOT6812

Prussia House 27 May 1853

My dear Sir

The bearer of these lines, M. Droege, has shown me your letter, 1 and reported to me the result of his conferences with Mr Bolton. 2 He wishes to obtain a few minutes’ audience of yourself, as to the proofs of what he has hitherto done as a miniature painter, & as to the possibility of facilitating a useful enterprize to an artist, who by the illness & death of his wife, and by unfair treatment, experienced from his partner in the anastatic printing, has suffered severe losses. 3

I can recommend M. Droege as a thoroughly honourable man, a true simple hearted artist, worthy of your kind consideration.

I remain My dear Sir Yours sincerely
Bunson
