London

Sunday morning

June 25

My Dear Constance

I wrote you word yesterday the trial was put off till November. I am think of resting myself after so much fatigue by spending 3 weeks on the Continent & visiting the Alps of Piedmont. But I have not finally determined to do so, therefore pray tell me if it would be in the way of any arrangement of yours – Goodwin would return to Greta & I should look out for a travelling servant for the job. I shd be back before Charles’s holidays, but if not, Goodwin must go and fetch him home

In haste Your affte

Henry
