My Dear Constance

I hope you received my letters – The meeting of the B. Associatn is a brilliant one, but I get easily tired with the racket and with talking to people. I do not wish my letters forwarded here but if anything particular occurs please to write to me at the Waterloo hotel.

The meeting closes on Wednesday evening. I have not settled whether to stay till the end. As I said in my last, I believe it will be desirable to commence our preparations for departure as soon as I bring back Goodwin.

The weather is showery which is sometimes inconvenient as there is much walking about Lord Harrowby is our President He is an old schoolfellow of mine.

Your affte

Henry

I would not go to the Adelphi because I remember we were charged 9 shillings for a Pear.
