Dear Sir,

Your translation in the main agrees with mine, which <was?> <illegible> 162 of my memoir. There are some differences, but I have occasionally myself hazarded a leap, which however I have indicated by a modest (?). There is certainly the name of Anaitis as well as Mithra, as you will see on a close examination. It is imperfect <in?> all the texts. Westergaard’s Babylonian texts ¹ are in the volume of the Memoirs published by the Northern antiquaries, at Copenhagen in 1844. I think you will find it at Williams & Norgate’s German booksellers in Henrietta Street Covent Garden, somewhere about No 20 or 22.
