My Dear Constance
The enclosed Report from Harrow will give you pleasure it is much the best since he went to the School –
The Headmaster has intimated in a printed Circular that the Holidays are put off until the 3d April because Easter is so early – Consequently Charles will have to join you at Greta Bank.
My plans are not quite fixed, perhaps I may write again tomorrow – I rather think I shall come to Edinburgh about the 1st of March –
We had delightful weather, but it is gone, and we have a spell of very cold weather with sometimes a high wind and then the cold gets inside the house. The plants dont seem to mind it much, the lovely yellow jessamine Keeps its flowers open in all weathers they are nearly as large as primroses – The Crocus keeps its flowers strictly shut up. I hope you receive the Times wch is forwarded daily to you.
Love to all
Your affte
Henry
