I like you to know that if you are at Lacock now it is worth while to come over to Clifton to see your old friends & Cousins! I am here now and so is Emma with M^r Llewelyn ¹ & their 4 Daughters, besides Isabella ² & her two now in addition to these inducements, I must tell you that there are reminiscences of Penrice that will delight your heart in the shape of lovely Photographs, & brilliant flowers from Penllergare to delight your eyes! Jane ³ is at Torquay but intends coming here for a day in her way back into Glamorganshire. they are uncertain in their movements as the weather – is of consequence to Lucy ⁴. –

I had a bad cold & cough when I came from Margam & am not very bright now but I hope you will understand that I write this history to make you feel that your appearance here would give great pleasure to your aff^ate Cousins Old & young. –
