M^r Trahearne thinks he sent you a copy of Sir Edward Carne's ¹ Monument at Rome which he got repaired when he was there and had lithographed – his daughter married a Mansel & so we are descended from him – which gives it an additional value to us –

I hope you are coming to London while we are here I did hear you were all coming M^rs Talbot & all your daughters but I want to know where & when? we think of staying till the 8^th June Our summer intentions are to go to Chester in July, an archeological Meeting, & then to see Manchester –

William Strangways ² has just started on his tour of the Pyrenees – Uncle Harry ³ is not in town – but soon coming back – Kit ⁴ is just gone to look at the Capricorn – the girls are all looking foreward to a cruize – Bertha⁵ is vy ambitious & says the West indies may be reached in ten days!
