I have directed £300 to be paid as you direct to Mess^rs Smith & C^o for your credit with the Bank of Scotland at Edinburgh

I will attend to your wishes about the dampness in the Chancel of Lacock Church and get an Estimate of the expence of any drains which may appear necessary.
