My dear Henry
Do you really think it wd be imprudent for Mrs Talbot 2 to come to us now? or is it only a panic that has seized her on account of the weather becoming colder? I think she will find South Wales a warmer country than the middle of England, & tho’ it is by no means a good time for the beauty of Penllergare 3 to be seen, I do not at all like letting go, of so slippery people as you are – and shall hope to see her and you again next summer when our rhododendrons are in flower at which time Penllergare is in its glory – I shall continue to hope we may have the promised pleasure of a week at least & the fine day we now have encourages me to hope we shall yet have more & that I shall be able to take her down to the seaside & for a drive to two or three places that will please her. unless I hear she does not feel equal to leaving home.
Believe me your affte cousin
E. Llewelyn
