Sir

We propose to bring out for the 1^st of next month a Photographic Almanac and to use a Photoglyph from one of your plates as a frontispiece. May we ask the favour of a line to say if this meets with your approval, and also to name what subject you would prefer. The size of the Almanac page will be Hemy8’vo – that is rather larger than the note paper on which this is written

We are, Sir Yours very truly

The editing of the Almanac will be superintended by M^r Crookes.
