I send you the news as quickly as I receive it – no mention in this of Lady Elisabeth’s¹ return. –

M^rs King accepts with gratitude the proposal that her daughter should go with us – and I have written today to Lady Lansdowne² to tell her about it & asking her to recommend her in the mean time – I have told the children that you mean to take them to Belgium this summer – and they are very much pleased I have traced the route on the Map
