I beg to hand you an abstract of an old a/c which I should be much obliged by your Cheque for I beg to assure it is fairly due to me, although you paid one Invoice for goods had since, which happened in consequence of the Gardener having had the Invoice with the goods, and that was paid without any reforence to the former a/c due at that time I have called for it but did not find you at home, either time, and I am now not so well able to get about as formerly therefore I hope you will excuse my asking the favour of your Cheque for the amount
