Sir
I regret your not joining the Compy 1 at its formation as your experience advice and cooperation must have been beneficial – Individually I shall always be most desirous to have you with us – but you must remember I am one only of a number & if our affairs become so successful as to make it worth your while to join it the other members may not be so alive to what Photography owes you as myself
I remain Sir Your obedient Servt
