I thank you very much ¹ for the Engravings ² of Strasburg Cathedral, and Glenturret house. I got from the late Sir William Murray two beautiful photographs of Glenturret House, one of which is the original of your Engraving, so that I can see that the Engraving is a most perfect representation of the Photograph.

If you have engraved the Photograph of myself which you mentioned your intention of doing I should like to see it.

I am one of the Jury on Philosophical Instruments ³ &c &c.

I have taken Mount Lodge Portobello, ⁴ where we hope to be on the 8^th or 9^th.
