Dear Sir,

Your proofs of engraving must needs be very quick, if you can so soon report either a success or a failure. I hope that your next attempt with shorter exposure, will answer better: if not I will try to make a more intense photograph for your purpose.

I have got something enlarged out of your Grenada view, but hope to have better next week.
