Dear Sir,

I have just received your letter and will at once write to M^r Nicholl and invite him to my House and afford him all the assistance in my power during his state of transition to Lacock – If he can find a suitable site for building a new Parsonage House there will be no difficulty in getting it substituted for the present one, but I doubt any part of the Glebe affording an eligible site – You might however find him one and take Glebe land in exchange – On this point I shall be better able to form an opinion after seeing M^r Nicholl.
