TALBOT8862

Bristol
Augt 27 64

Sir,

I should feel obliged if you will let me know when your plantation again requires thinning

Mr Etheredge is now gone into Cornwell [sic] – On his return he will give you a call on his way to Town if you wish it – To render your Ore deposits valuable, a raily must be made to them, & there can be no doubt of quantity enough to pay for the formation of such a line – I observe two kinds – one the Silicate of iron – the other & the more valuable, the Sil Carbonate of iron – If it is not troubling you too much, I should be glad to see the analysis of both of these if you have them together with the report from the Welsh Iron Works – The Bristol Coal Field contains the proper fuel for smelting this ore

Yours [sic] obt Sert
Joseph Wethered
