TALBOT8890

[possibly a fragment - no date or salutation]

If you are likely to be at home the end of next week I would propose taking Lacock for a day in my way to town –

We are like to have a contested election shortly which is disagreeable –

We have beautiful Clusiana & Oculus Solis tulips in the flowerpot – do you know Triteleia uniflora a charming little bulb.

At Abbotsbury ¹ Fourcroya gigantea is preparing to flower with a head like a huge artichoke Several tender ferns have lived out there two winters, I shall try more – I wish you had come there –
