Dear Sir,

We have had a very satisfactory Sale of Timber to-day – Every lot sold, with one or two exceptions, rather above the prices at which they were valued – As I explained to you some time ago we must give 6 months credit: Total amount £689 – without deducting Expenses of Auction & advertisements say 5£ p^r Cent £35 – or thereabouts. Have you observed that the G. W. R Shares have touched 80 and seemed inclined to advance?
