I am very much obliged to you for forwarding to me the medal which the Photographic Society of Edinburgh have kindly presented to me. It is really a very beautiful work of art, and I have great pleasure in receiving it. I am very glad you have presented the specimens of photo-engraving to the Museum of Science and Art – Will you kindly give me the Director’s name and address, in order that I may write to him respecting sending him further specimens of the art in case he should wish it?
