My dear Talbot
I have been rather out of sorts lately, or I should not have left your letter & the pretty lithographs, 1 so long without an answer. They are beautiful; the relief, quite wonderful. I don’t see how it is done, for there is no shade behind them, to throw the figures forword [sic]. can you at all tell what they will cost? Of course, much more than plain lithographs
Louisa Framptons2 Fir Paper,3 is curious; but she has given me no prices, & therefore it is impossible to say whether it will ever come into use.
When you write to Mrs Talbot, remember me to her & your daughters 4
