Pray ask Nicole ¹ to look in the closet next the window in the room that used to be the Nursery in Elbelle’s time, ² and find the tondo a black leather round Cap box. I want it here, & he can either pack some of your things in it to come down or have it sent properly covered by some conveyance or other. Lawes’s Van that goes upon Springs is I suppose the best. I find upon inquiry that the real cover of the tondo is locked up & cannot be got at, therefore N. must cover it for travelling the best way he can –

Likewise to ask Briggs the Dyer, in Brewer Street, for his Bill, which I want to have. I believe N. knows him & where he lives.
