Le Lundi 22 Septembre 1823, l’Académie a accedé, conformément à l’article X de son reglement, à la nomination d’un Correspondant dans la section de Chimie

Mr Faraday, ayant réuni les suffrages requis a été proclamé Correspondant de l’Académie Royale des Sciences.

The Permanent Secretary of the Académie | for the Natural Sciences certifies that the following is extracted from the | minutes of the meeting on Monday 22 September 1823

On Monday 22 September 1823, the Académie acceded, in conformity with Article X of its regulations, to the nomination of a Correspondent in the Chemical section.

Mr Faraday, having received the necessary votes, was proclaimed a Correspondent of the Académie Royale des Sciences.
