John Frederick William Herschel to Faraday   21 May 1825

Dear Sir,

The Treasury order not being expedited, it becomes advisable to defer for a day or two the meeting of the sub-committee for superintending the experiments at Pellat1 & Green’s2 Glass House, of which you are one. It is proposed therefore to meet on Thursday at 12 o’clock (The 26th inst) at the Glass house in Holland Street at which time & place your attendance is requested3.
