Faraday to John Frederick William Herschel   2 June 1826

Royal Institution June. 2. 1826

Dear Sir

Many thanks for your kind note1 but I hope notwithstanding what you say that you will allow your additions to my paper2 since you do not positively say no; or else put it in any form you please but I should be sorry that my crude ideas should go out helpless when such help as yours is in existence3.

In haste your obliged & faithful Servant | M. Faraday

J.F.W. Herschell Esq &c &c
