William Buckland to Faraday   22 August 18281

Oxford 22 Aug

My dear Sir

Will you have the kindness to look at the Box I gave you to carry the Chara Hispida2 yesterday to see if there is any name or locality written on any part of it. On looking at the fossil shells it contained I find no locality, & without this they are useless if nothing is written on the Box do not trouble yourself to write to me but if any thing be thereon, pray copy the Inscription if legible & send me it by Post. I hope your next visit will be less rapid & find me more at leisure

I Remain | Ever Truly Yours | W. Buckland
