I have received your communication1 and beg you will do me the favour to express to My Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty the high sense I entertain of the honor done me by being considered as one competent to be upon the Committee they have appointed and to say for me that I shall always be anxious to give my best judgement and assistance in any way their Lordships may require.
