March 14, 1829.

Dear Sir

Mr. Cabbell2 tells me you would be very glad to come to our Friday Evenings if you had the means[.]

Our Managers by their own rule cannot invite for the Season any but those who are upon the Councils of learned bodies or Ambassadors &c but I am very happy in having the power as Secretary to the Friday Evening Committee of sending you a ticket which I do with great pleasure after what Mr Cabbell has told me[.]
