R Institution | June 5. 1830

Dear Sir

I had expected much more from the subject as you first explained it to me than you now seem to think it has and I thought Mr Brown2 was the only obstacle.

As it is I have arranged another subject for next Friday evening3 and shall rest over the vacation with the hope that you can help me next year[.]

I am dear Sir | faithfully Yours | M. Faraday
