Eleventh Duke of Somerset to Faraday   26 December 1830

Park Lane. 26th Decr. 1830.

My Dear Sir

The Copy of your new edition1 requires my best thanks, which I beg you to accept. I am very glad to find that the work has been so much approved by the chemists. I am much pleased with the Introduction, and also with the mode of reference which pervades the whole. The latter is very similar to that which I have been accustomed in mathematical works.

I am My Dear Sir | your obliged and faithful servant | Somerset

To Mr. Faraday

Faraday (1830b).
