Faraday to George Biddell Airy   31 January 1831

Royal Institution | Jany 31. 1831

Dear Sir

I send herewith a piece of glass (heavy)1. It is deeper coloured that I like but I have no great choice. It was made in March 1829 and indeed in the last year I had no time or health for the continuance of the investigation. I hope it will suit M Amici’s purposes for the present[.] If it is too large perhaps you will divide it & keep part but do not consider it as a specimen.

I am Dear Sir | faithfully Yours | M. Faraday

G.B. Airy Esq | &c &c &c
