May I beg that you will do me the favour to cast your eye over such parts of the enclosed proof as have reference to yourself. It is part of a treatise on the Manufacture of Glass, which is to form part of my Cyclopaedia¹. I shall be happy to introduce any corrections or alterations which you may desire[.]
