My dear Sir

I am greatly obliged to you for your invitation1 but am unable to accept it. I am reluctantly forced to forgo my friends company at table from January to June2 and very rarely at other times dine out. In fact I am not a social man[.]

I am My dear Sir | Very Truly Yours | M. Faraday
