Faraday to Granville Penn   2 November 18331

R Institution | Nov 2. 1833

My dear Sir

On arriving in town last night I found your packet[.]

The spirit looks to me to very good[.] Its specific gravity is 915.1 at 63° of Fahrenheit[.] It has the flavour of the fruit which is peculiar & many would probably think it pleasant[.] It is no doubt a very good spirit for numerous perhaps all purposes. The great point is what will be its price.

Ever Dear Sir | Very Truly Yours | M. Faraday

Granville Penn Esq | &c &c &c
