Faraday to William Whewell   17 June 1834

Royal Institution | 17, June 1834

Dear Sir

I beg to offer you a copy of the 6th & 7th Series1 &c. and am anxious again to thank you for your kindness in the matter of the names2. I felt during the printing very well pleased with the way in which they read.

I take the liberty of putting 3 or 4 other copies into the parcel but have some suspicion that I am using too much liberty with you3. I hope however you will excuse me & I will endeavour to find out some other means of transfer hereafter[.]

I am | Dear Sir | Your Very Obliged Servant | M. Faraday

Revd. W. Whewell | &c &c &c

Faraday (1834a, b), ERE6 and 7.
See letters 711, 713, 714, 715, 716, 717 and 720.
See letter 696, for possible intended recipients of the off- prints.
