Faraday to John Murray   10 December 18341

Royal Institution | 10 Dec. 1834

My dear Sir

It is very hard to resist your repeated kindness but I dare not allow myself to be overcome[.] If I once gave way I should lose the only answer I have to the friendly but dangerous requests that continually attack me[.] Excuse me on this ground & for my sake[.]

Some of my philosophical friends think I ought not to reprint merely my papers from the Phil Trans and yet I have not time to do more than that with them. In a day or two we shall determine what is right and then I will have the pleasure of seeing you again2[.]

I am Dear Sir | Very Truly Yours | M. Faraday

John Murray Jr Esq | &c &c &c
