I think you told of some fine specimens of Native Gold[.] Can you lend them to me for the Lecture of the 9th May, at three oclk1[.]

This was Faraday's second lecture on 9 May 1835 "On gold and platina" in his eight lecture course "On the chemical and physical properties of the common metals". There is no indication in Faraday's notes that Morson lent these items. See RI MS F4I M1835, p.7.
