My dear Sir

I am exceedingly indebted to you for the last two volumes of your most valuable work2[.] It is astonishing to me that you can find time memory thought & judgment to the great extent of which it is the proof. I am sorry that my offerings in return are so few & far between but hope you will always accept them & my thanks as the best return I can make for your kindness[.]

I am | Dear Sir | Your Obliged & faithful | Servant | M. Faraday
