Royal Institution | 23 Aug. 1836

My dear Sir

I have the pleasure of introducing Mr. Wyon my friend to you. You cannot fail to know him by character for you have been in our country & seen his works in every piece of coin you handled. Any courtesy you can show him will be a kindness to me.

I send by him a few odd papers of mine & am sorry I have nothing better at present to offer. I beg also you will remember me kindly to Professor Plateau and convey to him the other set of papers[.]

I am My dear Sir | Your obliged & faithful Servant | M. Faraday
